Precision oncology works — when patients can reach it. Today that access is concentrated in a small number of well-resourced metro labs, while most of India's cancer burden sits outside them.

DocLane exists to close that gap: not by replacing pathologists or genomic sequencing, but by giving both a faster, AI-assisted starting point drawn from the routine H&E slide every biopsy already produces.

Mission

Validate before we claim — on the population we're built for

Our mission is narrow and deliberate: rigorously validate whether pathology foundation models like Prov-GigaPath generalize to Indian cancer cohorts, publish what we find, and only then talk about deployment.

That means starting with a retrospective feasibility study, hospital-partnered data collection, and benchmarking against ground-truth NGS results — described in full on our Validation Study page.

Why we started

Indian precision medicine, built for Indian patients

Most pathology foundation models are trained and validated on Western cohorts. Extending their promise to India responsibly means treating validation as the product's first milestone, not an afterthought.

Founded in Chennai

Omics Precision Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is based in Chennai, working closely with local hospital and academic partners from day one.

Research-first posture

We describe DocLane as a research-stage platform because that's what it is today — every claim on this site is scoped to what Phase 1 is designed to test.

Beyond the metros

The long-term goal is deployability in Tier-2 and Tier-3 hospitals, where genomic testing infrastructure is thinnest today.
